Indigo
This brand-new heart-warming musical follows three generations of women and their coming together after a long time apart.
When her mother is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Beverly and her husband Rick open their home to care for her. While adjusting to their new circumstances, Beverly’s daughter Emma – a non-speaking autistic teenager with synaesthesia – unexpectedly crashes back into her life. Her arrival forces Beverly and Rick to confront the past and learn whether they can become the family Emma so desperately needs.
A beautiful mix of humour and soul, with songs that will make your heart soar, INDIGO celebrate the bonds of women, family and the ultimate need for one another. Be part of an intimate insight into Emma’s world of colour as she opens her heart to the audience, even while she remains silent to the outside world.
Calamity Jane
Gosh almighty! Grab a posse because the whip crackin’ musical comedy classic CALAMITY JANE is a rollin’ on over the plains to Curve. Based on the much-loved Doris Day movie, this plumb fancy new production stars the multi-award-winning West End actor and singer Carrie Hope Fletcher (CINDERELLA, LES MISÈRABLES).
Meet the fearless, gun slingin’ Calamity Jane – biggest mouth in Dakota territory and always up for a fight. She’ll charm you hog-eyed though, especially when trying to win the heart of the dashing Lieutenant Gilmartin, or shooting insults at the notorious Wild Bill Hickok. But when the men of Deadwood fall hard for Chicago stage star Adelaid Adams, Calamity struggles to keep her jealousy holstered. Her heart’s a thumpin’… but who for?
With the sure-fire classic songs The Deadwood Stage (Whip-Crack-Away), The Black Hills of Dakota, Just Blew in from the Windy City, and the Oscar-winning Secret Love, The Watermill Theatre’s production of CALAMITY JANE is directed by Nikolai Foster (A CHORUS LINE, EVITA, THE WIZARD OF OZ), co-directed and choreographed by Nick Winston and features musical supervision by Olivier, Grammy and Tony Award winner Catherine Jayes.
The Addams Family
Following two hugely successful UK tours, and sold-out concerts at The London Palladium last year, everyone’s favourite kooky family are back on stage this summer in THE ADDAMS FAMILY, starring Alexandra Burke (The X Factor, SISTER ACT, THE BODYGUARD) as Morticia, Lesley Joseph (Birds of a Feather, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, SISTER ACT) as Grandma, Clive Rowe (THE PRINCE OF EGYPT, SISTER ACT, A CHRISTMAS CAROL) as Uncle Fester and Ricardo Afonso (JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, THRILLER LIVE, WE WILL ROCK YOU) as Gomez.
THE ADDAMS FAMILY is the spectacular musical comedy from Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice (writers of the multi award-winning hit musical Jersey Boys), with music and lyrics by Tony Award-nominated Andrew Lippa, based on the characters created by Charles Addams.
Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, is all grown up and has a shocking secret that only Gomez knows. She’s fallen in love with a sweet, young man from a respectable family. With his cherished Morticia in the dark, will Gomez manage to keep his daughter’s secret until the two families meet for a fateful dinner with hilarious consequences?
Join them, plus Uncle Fester, Lurch, Pugsley, Grandma and more for a heart-warming story of love, family and friendship… with a twist!
LEI-LDN
London’s calling, but is Chardaye ready?
LEI – LDN follows Chardaye, a mixed-race 17-year-old with a sharp tongue and a lot to say.
Uprooted from Leicester to South London, she’s thrown into a world of aunties, accents and unspoken rules.
But where’s the rulebook on belonging?
A raw, funny and electric blend of spoken word, movement and comedy, this one-woman show dives deep into identity, race and self-discovery.
If you’ve ever felt caught between two worlds, this play is for you.
NERDS
What do you get when you combine two tech geniuses? NERDS. This hilarious new comedy musical is coming to Leicester this July for a limited run.
NERDS reboots the story of Bill Gates, the mastermind behind Microsoft, and Steve Jobs, the innovator of the smartphone, in a hilarious musical comedy diving into the deeper connection (and no, not just the Bluetooth kind) between two of the most iconic inventors of the digital age. Follow these two misfit geniuses as they battle, innovate, and rise from humble garage beginnings to global tech dominance.
From the producer of HEATHERS, CAKE, MY SON’S A QUEER (BUT WHAT CAN YOU DO?) and I WISH YOU WELL, NERDS turns the creation of personal computing into an unforgettable theatrical experience with sharp wit, showstopping numbers, and a story packed with heart. Whether you’re a tech aficionado or just in it for the laughs, this high-energy production will leave you inspired, entertained, and ready to embrace the inner nerd in all of us.
The Three Little Pigs the Musical
—Get ready for a heart-warming adventure with THE THREE LITTLE PIGS in this fresh, lively, family-friendly musical that’ll have you laughing out loud from start to finish!
From the award-winning writers of HONK! and MARY POPPINS (Broadway), THE THREE LITTLE PIGS is a charming, “very curly musical tail” that brings new life to the classic story with catchy songs, clever rhymes, and heaps of humour. But it’s not all just fun and games—this version of the beloved tale has something smart to say about home, family, and the power of perseverance.
When Mama Pig decides it’s time for her three little ones Bar, Bee and Q to leave their messy pigpen behind and build new homes, the adventure begins. Armed with hay, sticks and bricks, they must work together to outsmart the big bad wolf and navigate the big, bad world. With plenty of laughs and thrills, they discover that success comes from hard work and sticking together.
THE THREE LITTLE PIGS THE MUSICAL is a wonderful way to introduce young ones to the joys of live theatre while teaching them valuable lessons about determination and team work.
